For nearly four decades, I have had the pleasure of caring for the oral health of the residents and visitors of our lovely valley.
Whether seeing a child at their first visit, or dealing with a dental emergency for one of our many visitors, my focus is always on what is right for the individual patient.
My practice prides itself on providing excellent dental care at competitive prices to deliver optimal results; beautiful, healthy, and confident smiles!
At the core of the practice is our friendly team of professionals, all with a shared love of dentistry, and dedication to exceptional care and results. We pride ourselves on providing the same level of dental care we would offer our families.
Education and Experience
I hold a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California.
Dental school was followed by a general practice residency at the Wadsworth V.A. Medical Center in West Los Angeles. I was in private practice in Los Angeles, and a part-time clinical instructor at USC School of Dentistry.
I received my undergraduate degree from Colorado State University: a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. I attended CSU on an athletic scholarship for swimming and water polo, and hold five All-American swimming titles.
Continuing Education
A firm believer in continuing education, I enjoy the learning process and staying current on the latest research, trends, and developments in oral healthcare. My skills are strengthened by attending meetings, lectures, and seminars, and by studying peer-reviewed publications from the American and Colorado Dental Associations.
Beyond the Practice
My wife Candice, one of our dental hygienists, and I met at USC. We settled in Aspen thirty-five years ago to establish our dental practice. We have been fortunate to have raised our children — twin sons and a daughter — in this remarkable community. With our children now grown, we have Emma, our shelter dog, to keep us company.
I have also enjoyed an active role as a member of the Aspen Sister Cities program for the past fifteen years. Bariloche, Argentina, is one of our Sister Cities, and I have participated in a successful ongoing medical/dental exchange with Ramón Carrillo Hospital. I treasure the lifetime friendships and professional relationships which I have forged with the doctors and staff of the Ramón Carillo Hospital in Bariloche along with our local hospitals; Aspen Valley Hospital and Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs.
And in my spare time, outside of being with family and friends, I enjoy skiing, golfing, and restoring cars.
